Apparently when GDL received the script for Cyberwoman it was full of stage instructions like "Ianto in silent agonising grief". At some point the giggling will stop...

In other news, the middle spawn went to see Muse at Wembley Stadium last night. He reports that they were amazing and all things awsome and that he thinks they rigged the sound to be utter shite for the supporting bands so that they would be exceptionally spectacular.

One of the supporting bands was My Chemical Romance. The spawn found the emo fans in the row behind him rather sweet as they gazed upon their heroes, eyes wide and single crystalline tears of emotion rolling down their powdered cheek (and no I am not making this up) as their band gave out their pearls of wisedom:

"I'd just like to say something... I know sometimes you get sad, when life is down. But don't turn to violence. Don't do suicide. Turn to rock and roll music."

The spawn said the sweetest thing wasn't so much the dorkish seriousness of MCR's statement, but the way their fans' faces lit up as if their lives had been given meaning. He sounded like he wanted to bring one home and feed it cookies :)

As a parent of an MCaRmy (I kid you not) member, I believe you. Luckily for me, she is NOT one of the ones who signed the petition to keep the lead singer from marrying (in fact she laughs hysterically at the idea).

But I don't believe the spawn about Muse. My kid1 also said they were great.

Heh, the spawn was most suspicious of Muse. Though he still says it worth the huge queue as 80,000 folks tried to on the same tube station.

Sigh, kid2 is into Dumbledore's Army too. She's also an "Overcast Kid" (Fall Out Boy). It never ends...okay, it does, but my wallet. It hurts.

80,000 at one tube station? Crikey. That's like everyone on the tube during rush hour. Sheesh.
