Damn you Barrowman

Because I was attempting to go spoiler-free for the last half of Doctor Who and the new series of Torchwood (stop laughing at the back there!) I'd missed this lovely Dreamwatch SciFI Interview. Very fun, I recommend reading it. It's spoilery in terms of general themes that will be addressed/changed in DW/TW, but nothing particularly plot or character specific for either show.

And yes, there will be a big reveal apparently about Jack. JB said:

When you discover what it is, your jaw will actually hit the floor! I jumped around the room when I read the script. Then I ran into David's trailer screaming, "Oh my God!" He'd been teasing me for days because he'd already seen it, and he just said, "It's really cool, isn't it?"

Aside from the amusing image of Tennant being interrupted by a flailing Barrowman, dude - if Barrowman is going all fanboy, and even a seasoned Who veteran like Tennant is finding it more than a little exciting, it's gotta be awesome, right? :)

So yes. Damn you Barrowman. One moment I was almost distracted enough by the loveliness of Human Nature to not mind that we're only on ep 8, but now I'm right back to wanting Utopia to air right now dammit!

*grin* I was simultaneously smitten by the adorable image of Barrowman screaming down a bemused Tennant's trailer, and by the ZOMG CANNOT WAIT EEEEEE! reaction to the big reveal. Good good stuff :)

I keep on hearing this theory bouncing around. I find it mildly disturbing and wrong but am slightly worried that it won't just go. away. Crossing fingers and toes it isn't that! :)

I read the interview yesterday, so I've had time to get over the OMGWANTNOW and move onto the OMGHOWCUTEISHE? I don't think many actors would actually run into their co-stars' trailer screaming in excitement like that.

Hehe, apparently when JB was told he had landed the part of Jack he screamed down Covent Garden, to the extent that some random passing old lady asked him if he was quite alright. *pets him* He's a dork sometimes and I love him for it! =)
