Doctor Who/Any Dream Will Do

Today I picked up new specs and am slowly getting used to the slightly sharper, clearer world I'm now living in as a result. I also belatedly managed to get the wee sis her birthday pressies, which seem to have gone down well so that's me covered for another year.

Then it was homewards and claiming of the sofa and TV.

(1) Doctor Who. I really enjoyed it. I hadn't realised it was a two parter and consequently the ep ended with me going 'NOOOO! YOU BASTARDS!!' when the familiar 'eeeeeeeee' noise heralded the credits and a cliffhanger. Martha continues to be made of win. One of this week's characters seriously intrigues me; no idea just what is going and am looking forward to an explanation.

Then it was a teabreak before me and the mate relocated back to the sofa for-

(2) Any Dream Will Do. There were two men gazing soulfully at each other whilst singing You Raise Me Up in a manner that made my slasher's heart sing. Good stuff. This is the first time I've really seen an ep so I can't comment on Craig leaving over Ben. I will say that Lee and Keith should be in the final, but from what I saw it's entirely up for grabs who will go to the last ep with them.

Ah, mea culpa. First time I've watched and whilst I automatically cut for series like TW/DW I didn't realise reality TV results were considered 'spoilers' - anyway, live and learn, will cut in future :)

Dr who is great, but your probably wayyyy ahead of what we see here in NZ (and thats with friends who download)

Not entirely sure how the season's are numbered, but we're on Tennent's second season as the Doctor, and this week's ep was ep 8 *happy sigh* And it was very very good so when it does get to you, you're in for a treat :)
