'Superior intelligence.'
Apr. 22nd, 2007 01:35 amWoke up this morning to the happy sound of the Doctor screaming 'MARTHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!' on the radio, courtesy of Radio 4 reminding us that this week's ep was on at an earlier time.
As for the ep itself: So-so. I enjoyed it because at the end of the day it's Doctor Who. And there were Daleks. And lines about musical theatre. And, more importantly these days, there was Martha Jones who finds ways to make me love her even more every week.
The ending, eh. Might have helped if the final twist hadn't been plastered all over the cover of the Radio Times, but still, maybe it'll work better next week.
Ending this post with a little Jack/Ianto fic rec. Great fun, the characters in the fic actually resemble the characters in the show, in particular Tosh is made of geekish love. And I do love how the author writes Ianto's slight sense of wounded male pride at effectively losing out to a pile of rusty metal space junk.

ingenius_inc: Where Jack molests alien tech, Myfanway makes a new friend, the rift has performance issues and Ianto is forced into sexual slavery (okay, so not really—and all in the name of Queen, country and the planet-- which according the Torchwood Charter, makes it alright)
