Heads-up for the Libertines fans on the FL

You know how you appreciate some things even if technically it's not your fandom? Like, for example, I do sympathise when a SPN actor has to put off his first UK con for a little while longer. Or Stargate announcing it's going to do some more TV movies once the series finishes. This is another one of those things. Thanks for macphista for the heads-up.

Carl and Pete reunite onstage in London - seems they did a couple of songs together and a rather well-received encore. Oh, and apparently the crowd was rather happy :)

I'm honestly disappointed. I'm pleased they're friends again, but I don't want to see the Libertines reform.

I honestly can't say much since by the time I was really aware of The Libertines they'd broken up. I've seen the odd interview with Carl and his crew. My impression is that on his side at least he has no interest in reforming The Libertines, but he's never going to say no to having fun onstage mucking around with guitars and singing with a mate.

As much as I am 'OMG!11!SQUEECAPSLOCK!!' about the whole thing, I think you're right - he's always said that he never sees The Libs getting back together. Which I'm glad about because you could never recreate the spirit they had, and John is off doing Yeti etc. I'm just SO PLEASED they're friends again. <3 <3
