lonelybritSo LB, father of the LB and the spawn are sitting around munching on their oriental-style dinner. Conversation turns to the Brits and general renewal of faith is voiced over Lily Allen not managing to sweep the board. It's a rare thing for me and the spawn to agree on music as the spawn are of the firm opinion that I have no taste and know nothing of the subject whatsoever. Anyway, I happened to mention I was happy The Fratellis got a Brit.
Brother of LB: Oh god, LB, not them they're awful.
Sister of LB: Who are they?
Brother of LB: They're really really boring... They're like the Scottish version of Franz Ferdinand!
I am not a petty person so I simply smiled serenely at him whilst the rest of the family dissolved into contemptuous laughter.
