I'm not here really
May. 4th, 2004 11:29 pmNope, I'm not here, I am in fact in bed, resting well for a full day of revision tomorrow. Really.
I am not giddy from having watched my first lunar eclipse and having drunk yet another batch of rum and coke, no, not I. Sane and grounded as a kite I am...
Anyway. Here be a few vid recs. Both done by the oh so talented
sisabet.
1) Paradise - by Richard Ashcroft. Based around the words 'You have so much left to lose'. Lovely look back over the people who've come and gone from Angel's life.
2) Bubblegum... somethingorother - by thingumybob. Really sweet gentle song, with a very sweet, gentle look at one of my many slash OTP's. Yes. Angel and Wesley. Might have to look out that song now...
ETA: Just in case people are still interested,
minnow1212 did a very good review of Time Bomb.

Date: 2004-05-04 03:45 pm (UTC)Sadly no. Was stuck watching the last 1/2 hour of Arsenal vs. Portsmouth. Never mind. The moon was very pretty, though it didn't glow red like I hoped it would. Ah well :)

Only a few exams to go - go you. And I didn't see the lunar eclipse. I instead watched Angel 5.17 - don't know what its called, but Ye Gods - it was so incredible to see this unspoiled. I actually screamed along with Gunn, Harm and Eve when the new liaison guy put his fist through the security guard.
And can I just weep for Gunn. Yes, Wes was hot and yummy and angsty and actually I'm quite worried about his reactions to Illyria, BUT GUNN! No! Angel! Don't leave him there.
*sobs and wants soft sweet season 2 friendshippy interaction between my boys*
Sorry to ramble like this, but I'm feeling a bit shell-shocked. I know there were plot holes the size of black holes, but the unspoiled factor made it wonderful. I'm trembling with terror and anticipation for next week's ep.
Anyway, good luck with revision, and I'm thinking about the co-writing fic... in between writing Bond!Wes, Spring ABoD, making silly icons and doing some school stuff.

And yes. I do adore Wes. And yes he is gloriously full of pain...
But as far as I can make out, this season belongs to Gunn. The writers have finally given JAR something real to work with, and he has just run with it. His character is seriously on fire right now :)
