Latest news on season two of Torchwood is that filming starts November/December, and the first ep will air in the new year. *weeps* I'm an optimist and believe that the quality of the final result will be utterly worth the wait, but still. Eleven months before more Ianto and Tosh and random pterodactyls.

A year. A YEAR. *floops*

BUT!

On the brightside, Tuesday sees the return of Life On Mars. Good stuff, plus every time Sam does something particularly wonderfully I can squee quietly to myself and think 'You're going to be on Doctor Who!'

I've also got SPN to catch-up on, and I've been told Jensen and Padalecki have got to stretch their acting wings a bit more recently which would be great to see as they've both got nice potential.

However, for the immediate comfort stage, I am going to drown my sorrows in lemon and ginger tea, and watch Top Gear - which looks set to feature this week the Hamster in a cowboy hat. Hamster. Cowboys. There will be no wrong. Hopefully.

When it comes to Jack himself, I comfort myself that we will hopefully get some nice history explaining when he returns to the TARDIS.

I swear, I was crossing Supernatural and Top Gear in my head as I watched. I cannot begin to tell you how much I wanted one of the guys to pick an Impala.

And the roadkill thing. I so want to write John, Dean and Sam cook roadkill.

I need therapy.

Hehe, I have to admit I was quietly rooting for one of them to find an Impala, though the Cadillac looked pretty similar from a distance :)

I can see Dean and Sam complaining that there's a MacDonalds just a few miles down the road, and John insisting 'No, we are going to grill this possum now start peeling!'
