I have to rec this because I'm still giggling over it. Cracked but inspired.

Torchwood vs the Shopping Channel by entangled_now.

And honestly, just who do you think is going to win this one. Jack being snarky, Gwen getting confused, Tosh slightly worried, Owen slightly scornful, and Ianto quietly pointing out the obvious. Plus a nice background of Jack/Ianto. So honestly what's not to love :)

Oh it was so lovely I utterly forgave it for the odd grammatical errors *happy sigh*

The team's reaction to Price-Drop TV got me going, and then the giggles were pretty much constant. I would have been perfectly happy with the fic being gen - yes I was enjoying it that much - only to be pleasantly poleaxed by the Jack/Ianto. I mean, honestly, one second I'm giggling over Tosh and her pancake machine, and in the same paragraph I'm melting over Jack getting distracted by the smell of Ianto's hair =)

Hmm, I know that a couple of folks haven't seen the ep yet, and I try to lj-cut any spoilers, but to be honest most have now seen series one and I'm using icons from all the eps now. Though I do keep the kissing ones in comments/TW coms, just in case. But I couldn't NOT have my Jack/Ianto moment in all its iconed glory... *pets icon*

It was cheesy, beautiful and also hot as hell *sighs at memory*

There was an interview with Barrowman where he was talking about on-screen kissing and how some of his castmates don't want to use tongue and he respects that (*glares at Ianto*). And when that scene played, I was sniffling at the same time as thinking 'Okay, that was someone who clearly didn't mind' *melts* :)

I think my favouritest part was Ianto mentioning the tiny person inside the mini-Mir!

*I almost wrote PERSIAN instead of PERSON... dramatic Freudian slip perhaps?*
