lonelybritSomehow my subconscious managed to filter out this wee fact about the new series of Torchwood - I think it was trying to spare me. But today the filter broke and it sunk in.
OCTOBER?!
Dude, I could get myself knocked up, carry the sprog, produce the sprog, and then the sprog and I could sit down on the sofa together TO WATCH THE FIRST NEW EP OF TORCHWOOD. In what possible way is this fair! *twitch*
And yes, I know the new Doctor Who will come between now and then, but is that going to give me my Ianto fix - is it? IS IT! I remember being this twitchy at the end of Season 3 of Angel, with Cordelia ascending, Angel descending, and Wesley having a nasty morning-after moment. And to be fair the writers did pay us back royally for waiting. Well at least the Wes fans. First sight of our man after months was him stark naked and sweaty with the evilly gorgous Lilah *sigh* And then straight from that it was on to the shirtless jeans combo and the infamous 'I'll take away your bucket.' (*has a moment*) And on that note...
Torchwood cast. You start filming in April. That gives you three months to hit the gym/spa/icecream parlour or whatever it takes to make sure you look pristine for the first ep. Torchwood writers, we are expecting you to come up with something good...

Just as they suck me back in, they go and desert me without my Torchwood fix for *that* long?! And just 'coz Barrowman's back on Doctor Who from episode 11 (...?), doesn't mean I'll be watching the first ten episodes either, so what am I to do now?!
