lonelybrit | So long, farewell

I'm back at the grandparents', helpfully buying cat food and making beans on toasts. This weekend it's the mother's birthday. The Mother is a lovely soul, but also quite capable of eating people. She is the kind of lady who says "Oh, I don't want a fuss, it doesn't matter," and yet should any child dare to makes social plans on or (heaven help them) plain forget her big day, the resulting fallout will last for months.

So I will just say, most charitably, that I hate you all, as 10 of my FL bugger off to get hammered in merry Horbling. *waves* Be sure to have at least one rum and coke for me, yes?

In other news, I am so going to a very special place in hell. The Torchwood fandom recently paused to take a guess at the characters' ages. Turns out that Gareth David-Lloyd (aka emo Twiglet boy, aka Ianto) is the baby of the group, clocking in at 25. Compared to, say, Barrowman, who is apparently looking unfairly great at 39. Yes, I do happily slash these two. Yes, I am aware my reaction probably should have been to pause and maybe think 'cradle snatcher'. No, I cannot deny that in fact my reaction was a very evil grin and the possible thought of 'Ahh, experience'. Like I said: special hell - but damn it's a fun place to be =)
