So the middle spawn who recently caused such chaos in the house officially thanked me when I finally arrived back home. He gave me a hug and said he'd told Dad to buy me a large bottle of rum. Awwww. Add onto the fact that his last email to me was basically his last will and testament (he left me his computer, his MP3 player and this £30 savings), I think I'll cut the wee sod some slack.

I'm feeling exceptionally well practiced in the art of driving at the moment, having done the three hour drive from Grandparents to home AND the two hour drive from home to Brum in one day. My friend has a housewarming and I've dutifully turned up with a bog brush with a ribbon tied around it. Don't anyone say I don't do anything for my pals. :)
