Some advice craved here from any folks who know music techy stuff.

So Windows Media Player 9 used to not list any MP3 files on my MP3 player, and would automatically convert any MP3s into WMAs before transferring them. Which actually I didn't mind as the WMAs took up less room and so I got more songs on.

Now - out of the blue - WMP is copying straight. The MP3s are appearing for the first time in months on the little player. And I don't like it cos they're taking up room. So, two questions.

1) Any idea how to undo this?
2) If not, can anyone recommend a reliable MP3 -> WMA converter?

WMP (and HTML) hates me in all aspects, but dBpowerAMP is very good for converting. And free! You might need to get a few codecs to convert stuff, but it works very well.

Grr! Trying again with the links working, I hope. I use this freeware multi-converter from the Softpedia site and find it very easy to use.
