I was tagged by
celticblade, and the project is in, and I'm taking a tea break before resuming revision. So...
List seven songs that you're into RIGHT NOW. No matter what genre, whether they have words or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Then tag seven other people and see what they're listening to.
Muse - Supermassive Black Hole I just love the rhythm and beat that kicks the whole thing off and then never lets up, so damn catchy!
Franz Ferdinand - Swallow Smile - Tune and execution aren't that special, but oh the choice of words *sigh* Have I mentioned that Alex seriously kicks ass as a lyricist?
Franz Ferdinand - Michael - I'm rediscovering a lot of the old favourites at the moment. Slashers' anthem. Killer beat. What's not to love.
Nina Simone - Feelin' Good - What can I say; this woman is a legend. Her voice is incredible.
Steady As She Goes - The infectious strong stark beat. Spotting a theme here? Plus that great simple bass intro.
John Williams - Jurassic Park - My userinfo describes me as a geek for a reason :) A tune that never really leaves my brain for various reasons. Like Michael, it's back.
Uakti & Phillip Glass - Japurá River Part of the 'Aguas Da Amazonia' suite. Love the timing, the melodies, harmonies... For some reason I find this piece incredibly sad, but it is lovely.

Date: 2006-10-03 02:34 pm (UTC)I shall refrain from the slap because I have a feeling I've been carrying enough love for at least three fans recently, LOL! Oh, if you're interested, it seems Alex is doing a talk in London sometime, part of him releasing the Sound Bites book. Right near my old uni too, ah, those were good times.
