Why my FL/family/housemates rule.

So my general announcement to the world was: 'Alexis is starring in Arthur Miller's play All My Sons in Liverpool next month and I'm going!'

The responses were:-

Father: WHAT ARE YOU THINKING- Oh it's after your project deadline, yeah that's fine then.
LJ (including LB): ALEXIS!! ZOMG SQUEEEEEE!!
Rest of LJ: whatever.
Baby sister: ALL MY SONS! Is that the epic american realist play by playwright Arthur Miller set in the 50's, dealing with the themes of betrayal, loyalty and deception, based on the american idealism of 'the american dream'?

Yeah, guess who's doing English lit for A-level *pets*
ETA: Oh, and the housemate just called me from the V Festival so I could get an earful of Morrisey belting out what I think was 'Irish Blood, English Heart'. Life truly smiles on me.

Heh, oh yes, my Dad literally puffed up several inches until I pointed out the date and then he just deflated, and then started getting interested when he registered Liverpool and his old Beatle-loving streak shone through, LOL!

If the worst comes to the worst, wade out into the sea, lash together a pair of sea turtles and darn well surf over to the mainland, oh yes! *hugs*

We will be going to see Alexis, wheeeeee!! *spins you* =)
