T'is a good book if you like tales of magic. Very long and at first deceptively light and funny, but it gets darker as it goes along. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I would do the meme, except, um, that's also the closest book to me. I'm trying to read it again. (I've been trying to read it since Christmas of 2004, and not having much luck.)

It took me a good month or so to read, which is odd as normally I whip through books I enjoy.

I found that for at least the first two sections, the book was one I would just dip into. I'd enjoy it while I was reading, but once I put it down I was never left with a burning desire to know 'What happened next?' Though that did really change towards the end. At the end, all of sudden everything comes together and I whizzed through the last few chapters :)

I keep getting partway into it (200 pages or so) and realizing that I'm not actually enjoying it. So I put it down.

I keep thinking I'll struggle through to the end and realize that at some point, I did start liking it...
