Dear god...

I've just realised who's to blame. Folks, feel free to blame my father. No, really. He is the unofficial rain god of the area. You want proof? Once upon a time he went to Ethiopia to do a report on the couple of years long drought that had stricken the country. It started raining the day he landed and rained every day for the rest of his stay. And when we went to Morocco we stayed up in the mountains where the locals assured us it never rained that time of year. So of course, within hours of our arrival huge thunderclouds appeared, and the resulting deluge was so heavy it knocked out electricity to the nearby villages.

So, Dad, if you're reading this from South America... *raspberry*

In other news, I found myself listening to The Archers again. It's bored me recently, but then Adam and Ian hit the rocks over Ian wanting to have a baby with a female friend and Adam getting all jealous. Ian moved out and everything. But today all was well as they had the kind of sappy lovey-dovey conversation that I only forgive them for because they are lovely. Adam basically grovelled, telling Ian that he's the most important thing in his life and pleading with him to come home. And now they're both very excited about the prospect of having a baby. Awwwwwwww :)

Tell him to come back at once!

It's quite overcast here now but I'm sure it's not going to rain.

Did you strike lucky and get a thunderstorm? We didn't of course but at least it's cooler today.

When will he be back in Europe? I don't think I can take it much longer.

They announced rain for Garbsen this weekend. I hope they are right. If not, I might have to hurt your father a bit for leaving us without rain for such a long time. Or at least yell in his general direction. I hate to be so sweaty.

We had rain for about 5 to 10 minutes yeasterday and today instead of 33° we are supposed to have only 31°. But it is supposed to rain again tomorrow and cool down to about 26/27 by Monday. YAY! (though that is still one to two degrees warmer than I like it).

If he comes back on the 11th-13th of August, I'll cry (I'm going to a festival, hahahah).
