God I'm melting. One of the housemates moved out today into her new digs, so we were helping her pack/unpack/move boxes. Then we all flopped on the sofas in the shade and died. I've currently revived a little and am sucking on ice cubes.

We went looking for fans, but everywhere has sold out. EVERYWHERE. We were tempted by the paddling pool, but it cost an arm and a leg *sulks*

It's 87 F in Houston right now at 11:30. In our world, in Houston, Texas terms, that's cool. I'm exaggerating of course, but it will go up to near 100 later on.

Take care. I keep all the lights off and the blinds drawn to give the illusion of more cool.

Urgh, well rather you than me, LOL!

Yep, we have the lights off and every door/window open at the moment. So it's rather poor security, but dammit we need the breeze!
