*mini-flail*
Jul. 15th, 2006 12:11 amJust watching highlights of T In The Park on BBC2. Yeah, I only stayed up for Franz, but anyway. We only get shown two songs, but they still had their definite perks.
(1) Darts of Pleasure - memorable because, dude, both Alex *and* Nick got upstaged by Paul. He sat behind his drums and basically bellowed at the crowd (via his microphone, obviously) various encouraging phrases, culminating in a proud solo effort at those kind of rising yell-screams that the Kaisers are so fond of. The screaming part kept going for quite a while. Bless. Alex and Nick were laughing at each other over their guitars.
By this point it was chucking it down.
(2) Dark of the Matinee - memorable change of lyrics: "So I'm... in a really fucking rainy field right now..." *pets the damp Franz* It looked cold. Hats off to the crowd for still poinging their little hearts out.
Good times :)

Oooh, and DPT are on now. And they just had the hosts ransacking their dressing room. WTF. FRUIT! Tsk tsk, don't they realise they have a debauched reputation to maintain?
