One for Pratchett and/or Tennent fans
Jun. 11th, 2006 01:51 pmI thoroughly enjoy reading Terry Pratchett's books; it's well known also that I am most fond David Tennent. So thank you thank you to BBC 7, who yesterday aired the dramatisation of The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents, in which David Tennent lends his dulcet tones to the character of Dangerous Beans (a morally conscious, educated rodent).
For the next 6 days you can listen to it here. Entertaining take on the Pied Piper tale; the cat, the rats, and a simple male human working a scam to get money out of townsfolk. Of course, things get nasty on their last job.
