Am literally back home, at least for a little while longer. The computer is alive once more, yay!

Nothing much to report. The weekend away was a good one, nice chance to catch up with the family. We got to ride to Swanage on a steam train - felt very Harry Potter. I discovered that children are never too young to be introduced to decent music. My nephew was intrigued by my ancient MP3 player and we listened to a couple of songs together.

His favourite track? L. Wells by Franz Ferdinand. ("I love this one!") *snort* It says something about the song considering this kid is just 4 years old, but still, it's a good start *nods*

Incidentally. Franz were on German TV this weekend, performing The Fallen to an audience of cheerleaders and giant furry animals. One of the funniest things I've seen for a while. I would say I don't know how the lads managed to keep a straight face - except they didn't. Paul was obviously trying not to laugh from the start; Bob actually smiled halfway through; Alex made it to the second verse before succumbing to a brief fit of the giggles. I love this band :)
