Nggggh. Talk about dying and going to fangirl heaven. Tonight was quite extraordinary.

1) Sharpe. Sean Bean. In the green uniform. He saves the day and rides off whilst we all sing along to Over The Hills. Good, good times.

2) Supernatural. Oooooh. An attempt at plot, yay! And whilst the plot itself might be a bit hokey, I care not because OMG BROTHER LOVE! *hugs Sam and Dean* Plus, of course, the brothers in the uniform of priests. I am hellbound, but so far it looks to be a cheerful way to go.

3) Franz Ferdinand. Long live the pic spam. And long live the comments that result from them. For the record: despite appearances they are not some gay 70s band, in fact two of them are married, and - to pre-empt the usual response - not to each other. *grin*

Sharpe was great fun.

Was a bit surprised he didn't get the girl (well, no more than a peck on the cheek). Maybe Our Sean is deemed too old these days?

Yeah, I blinked a little bit when I realised he wasn't going to be getting any. Though he really only had himself to blame, you could tell that those two women wanted him, oh yes. I guess he was just being noble and mature and being respectful to his dead French missus. *snorts*

Also, can I just say that my enjoyment/amusement over Sharpe has definitely gone to new levels now I watch it with a slash aware brain. Certain comments made me and the housemate giggle like five year olds, LOL!

Oh thank god it's not just me, LOL!

And in particular that scene in the cell? With them being told to 'enjoy' each others company because it was all they were getting. Or something like that. My friend burst out laughing and I just had a facepalms moment. Is nothing sacred! LOL!

I didn't think the plot was any more hokey that your average US TV show does 'very special episode', BTVS's 'Anne' comes to mind, as does ATS's 'Untouched', I didn't have a problem with it, as such is the nature of television, and I thought it was better done than some, cough*Anne*cough, but yes, Sam telekineticly busting the closet open? Dean saying Sam has something Max didn't, him? OMGtheirloveissotrue!!!!!! :)

Oh yes. The way Sam reacted to that vision *clutches at heart* And OMG my love for Dean skyrocketed yet again during that speech *mibbles* Dean is the best. older. brother. EVA. *nods*

Though, is it my imagination or are the two brothers starting to subtly change places. When this series started, Dean was the unshakable one, he believed 100% in the mission, whilst Sam was pretty much unconvinced. Now, Sam seems to be the one getting more and more conviction over the whole thing, while I'm starting to wonder about Dean. *bounces* Bring on the angst, I say! =)
