T - 3 weeks

*shudder* The countdown begins. In order to distract myself a few moments:

1) Ice Age 2 - Disney sweet and predictable. But still not that bad, and Scrat is fantastic, just be sure to turn off all cynicism and such before you go in. I enjoyed it anyway.

2) Supernatural. This week's ep was Route 666. Yeah, whatever. If I could be arsed to rewatch the earlier eps I would, just so I could be sure when I complain about character continuity and U-turns. I do, however, stick by the complete lack of chemistry between the romantic couple of the ep. Oh well. It did add a nice piece of history to Dean's character - maybe not quite the perfect father's son after all.

Route 666 is by far I think the weakest ep (the next 3 rock though) I've seen so far, stupid monster, a totally bland leading lady, and not enough interaction from the brothers.

Yep, I think I've probably forgiven worse eps in the past because while the monster might be a tad lame, usually the brother and family story/angst makes up for it - nothing hooks me like broken hearts, unspoken affection, and pain *happy sigh*

Ah well, I have hopes for the next ep :)

The next ep rocks! Sammy in beautiful pain and Dean holding him; we learn a bit more about what their childhood was (and wasn't) like. Ooh, and Sammy learns a new trick! *g*
