Hello :)

Well, have enjoyed a very pleasant Easter weekend with family down on my grandparents farm. I'm stopping off back here for the night to pick up more revision notes before heading back home proper.

Really, nothing much to report. There's still a bees nest under the floorboards in the spare room me and my sister were in. You can smell the honey comb, and in the morning you have to watch out for drowsy bumbles crawling over the carpet. (Last time we went there, my sister woke us both up at 2 in the morning because a bee was climbing up her leg! Eek!)

So, good seasonal fun then.

*hugs* to all, I'm going to do a mad dash round and try and catch up on fic...

Sorry I'm a bit incoherent, I'm tryng to write Bond!Wes, a wee Spike meets mini Wes piece for FG, and beta KJ and FG's fic. Plus, you know, live real life... with the ironing and the hiding of Easter eggs and such like...

Nope. No tea trey olypics.

Although we did get the mother of all Easter Egg Hunts. Easter Bunny went mad this year as the garden at the farm is really a small-sized field - complete with an abandoned orchard at the far end. The kids went wild, tearing around looking for those little nuggarts of chocolate!

Wasn't very warm where we were. But thank heavens there was a roaring fire in the main sitting room we kept well-stoked throughout. Kept us all nice and toasty :)

Eeeek! Bees! We had a wasps nest in our attic once. Where I slept at that point in my live. I'm allergic to wasps!

One bit me at like 1 am...fun was had for all.

Ooh, ouch!

Wasps are evil. I tolerate bee because they are vital to agriculture, provide honey, and, most importantly, can only sting the once - so at least if you get stung you have the comfort of knowing that the bee in question really meant it and anyway isn't for this world much longer.

Wasps on the other hand... Evil. Sting as many times as they like... Grrr.
