Well wadda you know...

• Fell out of bed in blind panic; lectures start at 10, I had to visit library beforehand and less than 40 minutes to make the half hour walk. Powerwalked onto campus to see the clocktower saying 10.30. Blinked because I knew I wasn't that late. Checked own watch. It was just coming up to 8.55. Oh well.
  
• Regarding the winner of the Best Picture Oscar. I like the cast lineup. And my friend, who is the most critical person in the world and very hard to impress, absolutely adored the film. So I'm guessing it was an award well deserved.
  
• Continuing to be very excited about new Franz songs. Not ony will Nick sing, but it seems Bob will progress from tambourine to guitar, ooooh... But on the downside, release date's been pushed back to April. But then again, there will be two, two, new vids to go with the new stuff. *bounce*
  
• Deadline tomorrow. Another one on thursday. Bah.
  
• Managed to do two very short AtS drabbles last night. Admittedly one was Helen and the other was Roger, so technically OC. But I care not, it feels good to write something new.

I think the opposite about the Best Picture winner, I think it was the only one with no artistic merit to it at all.

Was that Crash that won Best Picture? Oh, it is such an amazing movie. On-the-edge-of-your-seat, talking-to-the-tv amazing. There is one scene in that movie that is going to stay with me for a very long time.

I'm going to wait until I see the film before passing final judgement. So far I've only heard good things about it from my friends, including those who are most hard to please. Though I have to admit I haven't seen the trailer, only read the odd review.

And my house is an odd one. Most people have to be at their offices/lectures by 8am or 9am, so it's hard to tell if their doors are shut because they've got the day off or because they've already left.

On the plus side it gave me some extra time to work on my coursework.

Yep, that be the cookie :) I am looking forward to seeing it, in fact there are a number of films nominated that I really want to catch before they go away. There's just a small matter of finances and coursework due... *sporks it*
