So, things this week which I've taken note of:

• Franz Ferdinand will be doing an on-line Q&A tomorrow night. Hopefully it will be amusing. And continuing with the FF theme...


• Real life has noticed and corrected a slight anomaly; i.e. it seems The Bob is no longer single. I could hear the hearts breaking from the top of my FL...


• Supernatural! YAY! Not more scary than your average X-Files ep, admittedly some of the dialogue was clunky and scenes a bit OTT. But it was still great fun. I don't think I could pick between Sam and Dean. The latter is too gung-ho, but he's funny and has good lines. (Sorry, can't hear you, the music's TOO LOUD!) Sam is supposedly sensitive and intelligent, but god does he whine. Yet put them together and you have a thoroughly watchable and likeable character who you can't help but root for. I shall definitely be tuning in next week! *poing*

It's Sam and Dean *grin*

And Sam's the one who went to college and had a girlfriend flambe on the ceiling; Dean's the one who's the gung ho hunter.

It's definitely my favourite new show of the season and I love the brothers' relationship and the different ways they handle things. Myself, I like Sam slightly more than Dean (which seems to put me in a minority in the fandom) but I love Dean very much too. I think there will probably be fic and vids for this show eventually from me... (I even got around to making up a couple of SPN icons)

Ah, see, even in writing I try to morph the two of them together... LOL! I keep on getting confused with who's who, they only really work as a pair anyway *blush*

I think I'll need to watch a few more eps before picking a favourite brother. Sam has more Wesley-ish traits, which always endears me to a new character. But he really was just a tad too whiney and goody-two-shoes in this ep for me to like him outright.

Anyway, it's definitely good to find a show I could potentially genuinely look forward to each week. I've missed being able to squee on a regular basis :)

The Bob is no longer single?! Awwwwwwwww! Bless his little cotton socks. I'm finding this endlessly endearing for some reason. *sobs*

YAY FOR SUPERNATURAL! *whoops* Apparently they've got the green light for a second season, so I'm letting myself get all embroiled in fic and fandom. *makes room for you on sofa* When it comes to Sam or Dean, I mainly find myself in the Dean camp (you find much more out about why he acts like he does in later eps), but really, the line is so wafer-thin that it's apt to change at any given time :) I just.......no words. *luffs*

I'm definitely a Dean fangirl myself. Sam is too whiny and young and still naive. Dean has a Spike pout, a 1967 Impala, a box of fake IDs and a smart mouth. What's not to love? :D

And then, of course, there's the Wincest. ;)

Everyone was being so terribly british. Claps on the Bob's back and cries of 'Well done, old chap!'. Then go a little futher down the thread and, yea, there was weeping... LOL! *sniffle*

Second season? Oooh! It definitely gets the thumbs up from me, certainly the signs of a new fandom are all there. Yay! I am certainly looking forward to finding out a bit more about Dean - I did feel for him in just this first ep. I got the impression that his whole life has been taking care of little brother and sticking by Dad (wouldn't be surprised if Dean's had to make some heft sacrifice in the past to that end). Sam's too young to remember all that happened. Dean isn't. There's gotta be some angsty backstory there... *rubs hands hopefully*

At the moment I can't imagine Wincest. Much as I like the boys, so far I couldn't take either by himself. To me, Sean&Dean is one complete character. But that might change...

I've only watched the one ep, so I know I only know the premise of the show, not the characters as such. But at the moment I wholeheartedly agree with that sentiment. I couldn't stand Sam, or Dean, for prolonged periods by themselves. But I am totally sold on and could get very fond of SamandDean :)

The other good thing about Supernatural is that it lends itself so well to crossovers with AtS. The boys could find themselves hunting a demon in LA, and bump into Angel and Wes - can you imagine Sam and Wesley doing the research thing together? Wheee! *head explodes* Also Dean/Faith is fast becoming a new OTP :P

Yep. Good luck if you do go to have a browse; it's been getting rather lively recently. And for the love of god be cautious of the Pimp Bob post. Or more specifically the link therein. Funny beyond words yet also slightly traumatising, LOL! The recent pics from the latest gig down Australia make up for it though. Almost.

Heh, yep, SN most definitely does seem to lend itself to crossover. I need to watch a few more eps to start getting a handle on the characters, but their world and the world of AtS could so easily overlap. *rubs hands* Excellent... mwhahaha...
