For the love of God, someone, please, please rec me a good quality happy slashy movie.

Just had a very nice evening with a friend watching Circuit and Lilies. Both were very nice, pretty men to see. The latter in particular is just stunning - highly recommend it - with great acting, beautiful beautiful shots and scenery, and the most heartbreaking ending.

Anyway, now we are in serious need of uplifting. A nice film which leaves you with a warm happy glow inside. Is that two much to ask? *goes off to mourn*

Touch of Pink (comedy)

All Over the Guy (romantic drama)

They're both happy ending sort of movies. I like All Over the Guy best. It has some angsty moments but overall is happy and wonderful.

Ditto on the All Over the Guy rec. I know tons of guys like the main characters and I despise them all, but it's still makes for and interesting / entertaining movie. Plus, everything Sasha Alexander's character says is quoteable. ;Þ

My go-to rainy-day mancandy movie is The Broken Hearts Club. I don't know if it counts as slashy, cuz it deals less with subtext and more with buttsex, so . . . but it's FULLA PIDDIES!!!

Chris Kane, Dean Cain, Tim Olyphant, Chris Whiel, Kerr Smith, Michael Bergin . . . and they're all gay, Gay, GAY!!!

*sniffle* Oh, it is just such a lovely, beautiful but completely heartbreaking film. I love it to pieces, but now I need the fluff, bluebirds, rainbows and living happily ever after :)

Definitely. I loved the method of story telling as well as the story itself, but it was so hard to watch and I was crying at the end. And I'm not actually very into angst, usually. Here's hoping you get some wonderful recs!
