Ye Gods I thought weekends were meant to be relaxing. Pfft.
Okay, the good news.
1) I went to see Jerry Springer the Opera for a friend's birthday. Brilliant - highly florid language and totally irreverent, but still very funny. Moments that will stay with me will include seeing the Ku Klux Clan tap-dancing and hearing Jesus duet with Satan for several minutes on 'Talk to the stigmata'.
2) Um. I got my homework in on time? I'm halfway through one report, leaving only one and a half left to do by Wednesday. Go me!
The bad news.
1) AD cancelled SFX con. Curses. However, me and my buddy are still planning to go along andget wasted have a laugh. She's an SG1 fan, so hopefully she'll enjoy seeing the baddy from the show there :)
2) Evil Plot Ferret is lurking outside my door. I have a WIP. I have deadlines and exams in a mere seven, seven!, weeks I must revise for. Ergo, WIP should bloody well stay WIP. Will it? Not sure. Somehow it gained an extra chapter over the weekend. **facepalms**
Ooh, just remembered the final piece of good news... I'm well again! Yay! Have a slightly alarming sounding chesty cough, but apart from that I'm actually feeling right as rain, bright eyed and bushy tailed, rocked and ready to roll, etc etc.
