lonelybritSo, guess who's now all up-to-date with SPN - yes I have finally inhaled ep 14.
Yes, as always I had to plough through some real detritus to get here, but (fingers crossed) it's been worth it. So many beautiful moments that I kept on thinking 'Ah, this is my new fav moment of this seaso- no no, this is my new- dammithang on.'
Oh, Lucifer, Lucifer Lucifer.
I have missed you. I hadn't realised how much until your 'Couldn't give a toss about any of you attitude' appeared once more on screen.
And I will admit I was a little apprehensive at seeing how Misha would cope with playing the latest version of Cas (or Lustiel, I believe is the fandom name), but actually in ep 14 he was a pure joy to behold. Grumpy Lucifer bitching at being dunked in the sea, having to bite his tongue and just roll his eyes instead of just squishing the Winchesters like you know he wants to (until he realises that he doesn't), was just spot on - particularly when you get to see the transition from Lucifer to Lucifer-pretending-to-be-Cas to Cas, even if only for a few moments.
Good times :)
Being a realist I'm assuming we won't keep this quality for even half of the eps we have left until the finale, but I will cling to this latest ray of sunshine until we get the next nugget.
