"We're not just brothers, right?"
Apr. 12th, 2012 12:45 amSo today marked the day that 3 fandoms reduced me to keysmash. I may be a little fizzing ball of suppressed geekish glee right now :)
asldkfja;lfjk #1: Merlin - t'is time for another round of footy in the name of charity. Team Merlin have been confirmed as returning to defend their title and this time they're bringing the entire gang. Bradders even broke his Twitter silence in honour of the occasion :)
asldkfja;lfjksajlk #1: Glee - yes, it was the ep with that casting spoiler. Yes it hammish and clunky and clichéd, but I still loved it. Mat Bomer and Darren Criss were just a delight as the Anderson brothers and everything I hadn't realised I'd been hoping for. I laughed, I flailed (I was not expecting that shower shot), and I ended hoping we see Cooper again. Also, for the first time in my fannish existence, I get the 'incest' thing. Possibly because each lad was already such a big character in his own right that I did first see Bryce vs Blaine before the sibling thing really registered.
asfd;lkjasdl;fjkdjkaaf;jdaf #1: Avengers - shortly it will première in LA and Marvel have fired a final killer clip, this time with Loki and Iron Man. It seems I have reached the stage where I'm now waiting on the actual film as I haven't yet watched the vid since it's one of the confrontations I'm most looking forward to :) Even so, I must confess I do see why some folks are so keen on their Loki/Tony

Loki, you tease...
Right, and with that it is time for me to make a final cuppa something warm and wet before I float away up the wooden hill...

Date: 2012-04-12 05:32 am (UTC)I'd watch Matt Bomer in anything, also the writers of glee didn't help themselves by having blaine and cooper (love the name wink wink nudge nudge)sing break up/love songs to each other... also hooray for shower scenes :)

Date: 2012-04-12 09:59 am (UTC)Me: You know how much I love football, right...?
D: [suspicious look]
Me: Well, seeing as I'm such a fan of the sport, how wrong would it be for me to go and watch the charity match at Upton Park, just because Merlin, Arthur and the knights are playing? And because they're likely to strip off and maybe hug each other?
D: [eyeroll]
Me: So how wrong would that be, on a scale of, say, one to 'good grief, woman, get a grip!'?
D: So you want to sit through 90 minutes of football on the off chance of gratuitous semi-nudity and boy!hugging?
Me: That's about the size of it, yes...
D: [withering look of pity]
So, group outing then?! ;op
