lonelybritClearly despite the fact it decidedly underwhelmed me, something about this week's SPN ep must have got under my skin. A browse of the FL today led to one of those flashbacks where you suddenly remember what you dreamt last night. In this case, it appears I have my first Supernatural dream.
I do find this both ironic and highly amusing.
At the time of the sex scene between Dean and Lydia, all I was aware I was doing was going *eyeroll* and being unimpressed and slightly puzzled by the cutting back and forth between them and the latest murder.
However, it appears my subconscious was going: 'A-ha! Is that a bare shoulder I see? Yes it is! Where is Castiel's handmark?!!!'
This was an observation I've seen echoed on LJ. And last night, it would seem, my subconscious was so bugged by it that it wrote me my on little mini-ep to correct this outrage.
Do I remember much about it? Do I hell. General premise: There had been some disaster, but when the dust cleared it revealed unexplained recoveries and healings. The main one was Sam whose leg had been mangled but then all of sudden was fine. Turned out it was down to some miracle child (possibly that anti-Christ lad) who had been sneaking around doing good deeds.
The scene I remember is the child's father, who knew Dean was upset by the unexplained disappearance of his scar, pointing Dean out to the kid and asking if Dean had also been 'healed' of something. And it turned out that Dean had. Cue the father asking if the boy could return Dean's scar. Leading to the young lad being puzzled as to why anyone would want a scar back.
"Because it means something to him. It's from an angel."
"What's so special about an angel."
"This one was his angel."
My subconscious gives me fix-it fanfic in my sleep. It gets a gold star this week :)
