Oh that's a bit harsh, the dragon does have lovely eyes ;)

I suspect we'll be seeing more of Lance in the future, if there's no wings/body/glowy light I suspect the character concerned is only mostly dead. I can see the writers messing with legend a little bit, but they're far too fond of the Gwen/Arthur/Lance triangle to be done with it this early on.

He does but I make it a point never to date anyone with longer nails than I have. :P

Suppose it depends on the actor's scedule from this point forward, if he has a gig in the US then he had to be written out and yes the lack of body means he can later be brought back. But he was my favorite so I shall ignore the behind the scenes logic and sulk!

well his sword did glow at the end (please feel free to run with that) so he has to come back at some point, i suppose it depends how well Alcatraz does and whether he's killed off early a la Heroes.

The slash was epic, love how they don't hide it at all, knights leaping on other knights, merlin and arthur being all coupley, villains being completely transparent...

...basically i loved it. Also sorry for the text spam during the episode, i got a bit excited and there was no one to squee with.

Ah, melodramatic sulking is always good for the soul :) Throw in a bit about the burdens of having to fulfil your destiny and I'd say you're good to go!

Ooh did it?! I think they are now wrapping up filming of S4 so I've been trying to steer clear of any spoiler-y pics from the set. Although someone has pointed out that there are scenes in the official S4 trailer that might be re-examining. In any case, yes! I refuse to believe he's entirely gone just yet...

The slash was unbelievable this ep. And not just between the usual two, as you say they were literally throwing the knights at each other (Gawaine and Percy!). Although Arthur and Merlin had me yelling at the screen with that Will-they-won't-they-HUG moment. That was just painful (in a good way) :)
