Ah life. It's been busy, still I have a holiday to look forward to in October so there is light at the end of the tunnel. Anyway, posting just to confirm that yes I am still alive. Have some random thoughts that have crossed my mind this month.

x. Misha gives a few words on Castiel's role in S7 - obviously SPOILERS in the article for all of S6. I am feeling a little peeved. SPN is one of these shows that is just so close to being one I could 100% enjoy, plot/characters/believability be damned. It's just that for whatever reason I'm not feeling that all important spark or connection. Or at least I wasn't until they dug out this angels/demons and more importantly Cas' fall of a storyline. In much the same way I loved watching Wes destroy himself during S3/4, I've loved watching Cas wind up where he is now. Except just as the storyline seems to be kicking off, well. I suspect that's going to be it for Cas being centre stage for a good long while. Which, to be fair, is reasonable considering that SPN isn't technically his show. *raspberry* Still at least I'll have at least 2 eps, and then I expect I'll be dropping SPN again until they do another last-minute bid for my attention.
x. I look down on you with my smugness, AKA Starz have cancelled Camelot and therefore I get to be officially smug over our Arthur being better than their Arthur (and by the by our Gawaine was totally hotter too). Just shows you should always add a talking dragon, works wonders. (Still, t'is a shame in that Eva Green was brilliant and although the show is complete tosh, I have been enjoying it so far.)
x. Blast from the Past - Barrowman tweeted a lovely pic of him and GDL when they were recording the radio plays (due next week before Miracle Day kicks off). Ah lads. There was a reason I fell so hard for the Jack/Ianto ship, they do look so pleasing together if nothing else.
x. The anticipation for Merlin S4 is building. For a taster try this: Wherein the Ugliness of the Cast doth offend the eye (no spoilers for S4). And for a slightly more SPOILER-y taster go here: Saturday Knight Fever, wherein we start to see what kind of official photoshoots will hopefully be heading our way in due course.
x. I went to see Pirates of the Carribean 4. My conclusion: utterly worth it if the idea of seeing Ian McShane as Blackbeard squaring up against Geoffrey Rush as Barbossa sends you into fannish glee. I also got to see Kung Fu Panda 2 which had me when they said Gary Oldman would be an evil white peacock. It does try to deal with the 'Adoption' issue with all the subtlety of a lead brick being dropped repeatedly on your toes, but the message was a good one and Po's dad is adorable so they get the thumbs up from me :)

Right, after dropping all this on you I'm going to beat a hasty retreat. Hope life is treating you all well!
