Ah, now that was a good few days

So, on Saturday a whole bunch of us went out to officially celebrate coming to the end of term. We wound up spending about five or six hours sitting on sofas, drinking cocktails, and generally having a very nice time.

Hmm. Did I mention the cocktails? They were *really* nice. There was one called Eye of the Tiger, which was made up of three different types of rum and three different types of fruit juice. I think we got through about five jugs in total. Which in hindsight is a little alarming considering how we three are the lightweights of the group. Oh well. We drank plenty of water and there were no headaches the following morning, so I think we got away with it :)

Also went to see Prisoner of Azkaban. Very cool. Thank you. Although thanks to multifandom writers like zortified and Spike's comments this season, I couldn't hear the phrase "I'm Head boy!" without cracking a rather unappropriate smirk.

Ooh, and *everyone* has updated recently! It's fantastic, Christmas come early and all. More Protocol, Outcasts, Unity, From LA With Love, wonderful!

Also, found this lovely little fic by thedtree. You need to concentrate when reading it, but it's so worth while. Nice little argument set post Origin: War Of Words

There was something else...

Ah yes. And the Archers is creeping back on the radar. Adam and Sid have had a showdown at last, blows were exchanged. Sid's been told to apologise to Adam. And Ian has refused to see Adam again until he apologises to Sid. Aw. Ain't love grand ;)

Hmm. Wesll Angel/Wesley is always a good place to start. Just look at any ep where you have the two of them onscreen and let your imagination go nuts! :)

I don't know. What kind of situation are you looking for? Bitter? Angry? Sweet? Angsty? AU? Canon?

LOL! Actually, I did think about mentioning Giles. Put two Watchers together and just watch the steam start to rise...

What about Batshitinsane!Wes? The way he was in 'Time Bomb'. Maybe have him not get better but in fact in need of someone to guide him for a while, then bring in Giles or Angel... Leave to talk and comfort, and voila! Slashiness :)

Nah, I can't think of anything for the Wesathon either. I have three putatives on the computer I bought for eighteen quid (inc printer, speakers, all fully working, yo!) at a car boot sale yesterday, as I'm boycotting this %'*&%#@ - ing machine until it actually works again. But none of said putatives are going anywhere.

Hmm. I might try sending off a nice, polite letter to Mr Harry this evening, just asking if he can give us an idea of when we're going to know whether or not the rooms came through.

Then if there's still nothing by the time next week rolls around, I say we hit the phones and let them have it :)

My train leaves Sheffield at 9.27, erm how long does it take to get to London? So if you want to go around lunchtime, I could meet you there, it'd save her having to meet both of us at different times.

If you're leaving Sheffield at 9.27 and it's a direct train to St Pancras, then you should be arriving at 11.49am.

Trains leave Victoria at 4/11/34/41 past the hour. So if I meet you at the station, we can go on together and get the first train out to Donna's?

Ack, my mind does not go that far ahead yet! Still busy trying to figure out modules and projects for next year.

I don't mind where we meet. Although to get to Victoria it's painfully easy to go by tube and I know you hate that thought. Did the 73 bus work out okay last time?

Hmm, inserted scene is grabbing at me. I love those when they are done well. I read a fic once called Lost in the Supermarket and to be honest I am totally convinced it is canon. I don't think I can do sweet, I'm naturally inclined to bitterness and anger. Odd really cos I'm fairly equinaminousminasminous(aarrgh sp?) in real life.

So, on that note, let's talk episodes.
