Yet more fic recs!
May. 27th, 2004 03:46 pmI've decided to brave that most feared task: Shoe shopping.
Ick. Have a dress that sadly won't go with my Hawkshead hiking boots or scuffed up grey trainers. Meaning I need new shoes. Oh the joy.
Anyway, these two fics are great. One of them is Wes, set post-Hole In The World. Try saying some of it out loud to yourself, it's almost scary. The second is another WIP from FF.net that for some reason I just like. Could be who's telling the tale.

violetsmiles. A/W. Simply gorgeous fic, set where things went a little differently after Waiting In The Wings. Considering all the angst of late, this is a welcome read.

Date: 2004-05-27 05:09 pm (UTC)Hmm. Our English teacher rather unhelpfully told us that he always thought there was something rather phallic about a sword that grew bigger whenever the guy needed to strut his stuff. We weren't happy with him.
