Yeah, this might possibly be displacement activity. To say I'm a tad preoccupied when it comes to Torchwood might be just a leeetle bit of an understatement. There is something to worry about consider on pretty much every level: What will happen to my the characters? Will they all survive? If they do survive, what shape will they be in? If there's a third series, what shape will it be in? WILL THERE BE A THIRD SERIES?!!

And breathe...

So in the interim, spreading the love.

The world's most amazing penguins - proudly continuing a tradition on-going since the 1950s, the BBC recently put up this vid about a unique colony. Yeah, most of you have probably seen it, but [livejournal.com profile] flatlanddan pointed it out. Never has my license fee been so well spent :)

The vid the Beeb couldn't hide - in the same way as nothing gives a lad a shine more than your parents 100% disapproving, nothing turns what was simply an amusingly traumatising vid into a priceless gem than the hosting corporation (also the BBC) trying to pull it off their website. Yes, I am talking about that Torchwood 'Making Of...' vid with GDL with the cracktastic soundtrack choice. It's nice that finally there is some acknowledgement that the leading man of the show has been not infrequently getting it on with the office boy, even if it was taken off both the website and the BBC's YouTube account. No explanation as to the temporary vanishing act, I'll assume it was just a server error and am passing on the Vox location courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] rivier so those outside the UK can enjoy a smile.
