Dear god I think I pulled something from laughing so hard. I love my show. I love this cast. Even if occasionally I do want to give a character or two a soft cuff around the ears. But overall, I've just got a grin this wide *stretches hands* and I'm hoping things mentioned in this ep aren't forgotten.

Gwen. Oh Gwen, you were truly awesome this ep. I thought Eve Myles did a fine job in pulling off the not easy feat of making Gwen still believably enchanted a bit by Jack whilst undeniably and 100% still being in love with Rhys.

Tosh. Dude. Tosh is made of win and awesome and all things excellent. Adored her, of course.

Owen. My love for Owen continues. He's back, he's working and yes he's still dead, but it ain't stopping him. And he complimented Tosh's dress, and asked her to dance. He maybe can't physically feel that, but it made him happy, and I liked that he liked how it made her happy.

Ianto. Wedding dress. Can I say more. Plus he also DJs. Admittedly I kind of wish his flirting with Jack had been a little more two-way, but given the circumstances it's understandable, and more importantly, Ianto does seem genuinely content with his lot. Jack may have offered, apparently, something more than innovative office relationships, but from what I can see their relationship may be heading back that way. Though it's hard to tell since we rarely get anything concrete and, well, there is nothing conventional about an on-going relationship within Torchwood. (Past examples being Gwen/Owen, Owen/Suzie - and we all know how those went.)

That final dance... *happy sigh* It was so so pretty. And to be honest, I'm wondering if Ianto didn't cut in just because he wanted to dance with Jack, but more because he's looking out for both Jack and Gwen. He cares for them both and could recognise a situation that might have become awkward (I wonder what Rhy's expression was).

Jack.

Okay, no, scratch that. How much fun did John Barrowman have in that make-up. Seriously. He must have been like a kid on summer holiday during that shoot.

Now back to Jack. Of all the characters, I was perhaps a little put-out by him. For god's sake, man, it's her wedding day, back off a little bit and let her enjoy it.

And then they threw in that last scene. And suddenly it all makes so much more sense. Yes, it's because it's Gwen yet again inching away. But also this actually is something Jack knows about. This wasn't just about Gwen. This was also about weddings and a couple and all that entails - which at some point he obviously had. There was another ghost in this and possibly has been for lord knows how long, that none of us knew about. I am glad at least that the memory made him smile rather than get too long-faced, happy memories are always of the good.

I wonder what happened to her. I hope we get a few more hints before the finale.
