Urgh, so yet again it's that time of year with a major major deadline looming. Sleep? Tchah! Who needs sleep...
Though I rarely watch football, I will admit that I've found myself keeping a weather eye on this year's World Cup. Mainly because at the beginning at least, it was nice coming home after work and still being able to catch the end of the last game. Alas, poor England, but no real surprises there. Still, the other games have been entertaining, so rock on to the final :)
I've also been keeping an eye good ol' Wimbledon. At the start I thought maybe we'll get another Djokovic/Murray final, but of course that all came to a rather abrupt stop. Again I rarely watch tennis, but I did watch last year, and I have a soft spot now for Djokovic after his Grade A grace in losing that final and being so complimentary to Murray and his supporters. And this year I did spy the report of his "amazing piece of sportsmanship", so yes, I would be happy to see him Wimbledon champion this year.
That said.
Federer. Hmm. I suspect it will be him crowned later today, and fair play to him, from what I can see he's been on top top form so far. And it tickles me to know that he's been giving advice to Novak about how to handle fatherhood while on on tour.
So all in all, yes, looking forward to this final. Two very deserving gentlemen, good luck, sirs, I'll be sorry to see either of you lose.
