Just a little bit of love
Aug. 1st, 2010 02:32 pmAh, Merlin, as always I can rely on you to raise a smile. Also taking the chance to send general *hugs* out to the dear FL, just because I can :)
So on to the usual recs that have left me with a grin and hearts in my eyes:
x. The Origins of You're The Voice aka Smack Destiny In The Face - short vid from the recent Comic-Con, wherein Colin sheds light on the origin of his and Bradley's infamous Farnham montage. With ASH beside him providing the giggles.
x. The Wrong Trouser Leg of Time - NC-17 - Merlin/Arthur - modern AU. Arthur is single, straight and a workaholic. And then one morning he wakes up next to a man who calls himself Merlin and is apparently his husband. Yep, it's the good old parallel universe switch tale, and it's utter gold as everyone tries to figure out to set things right (and if they actually really want to).
x. The Good Times Are Killing Me - NC-17 - Merlin/Arthur - another modern AU. It's Christmas and Merlin and Arthur are still in the immediate aftermath of an unseen but clearly very horrible breakup. Rather than wreck the mood of Morgana's annual Christmas party they agree to meet-up one more time and pretend for one night only that all is still fine. Refreshingly it's clear that the breakup is the fault of both lads equally, although no prizes for guessing how the final ending actually goes.
