Thank you for watching
May. 18th, 2010 10:33 pmAnother thoroughly enjoyable weekend although I have confirmed that me and quadbiking will definitely never work, ask me to climb trees and shin ropes and I'll cope, but give me a quadbike and I will get it stuck in a ditch within the minute.
Have finally caught up with various TV.
x. Supernatural - a solid if unremarkable finale, I enjoyed it.
x. Doctor Who - again, the series is enjoyable but I'm not on tenterhooks over it like I used to be. Hmm. Maybe it's just the secure knowledge that we have it on a weekly basis for a little while longer.
x. The Tudors - utter crack and utterly addictive. Thoroughly enjoyed the Katherine Howard storyline, and they've done an interesting take on Catherine Parr. I like that they've made me root for characters who at first I would have quite happily seen go to the gallows.
x. Glee - not quite as cracky fun as the first 13 eps but still enjoyable. Although, much as I enjoy the songs, there does seem to be rather more singing than is necessary.
I'm also trying to keep making time to rediscover reading. Currently I'm trying to get through The Historian which I'm really enjoying but it's frustrating how the bus to work only lets me get through one chapter tops before depositing me blinking at the main entrance. Bah humbug.
AND FINALLY: There will be a Merlin panel at London Expo at the end of May. Oooh, I am tempted, I will have to consider this...
