"You don't deserve to live."
Jan. 25th, 2009 05:50 pmLast week at work was yet again mad but was brought to a very satisfactory end when I came home to find the parents had arrived early and were cracking open their food supplies. Their advice was "Shut up, get changed, then come have some champagne."
It is an amazingly effective way to de-stress.
I've finally managed to get my mitts on the the two specials of In The Thick of It, there is something quite inspiring in watching Jamie and Malcolm terrify the underlings of Whitehall, they may be borderline psychotic and laugh at the idea of 'scruples', but even at their worst you can't help but root for them. It's a shame we won't see more of these two, they were a hell of a pair :)
And on that note, I am looking forward to tonight's Lark Rise to Candleford. You can always rely on it to bring Sunday to a warm fuzzy close before the knives are out again for Monday.
