Final shallow thought of the day

Although Spartan is I think officially my favourite new gladiator, I do have to hand out special commendation to Atlas. He may be a bit useless and the proverbial blonde braincell of the group, but he does somehow make that rather endearing. I mean, for example, take the various quips and warnings to future contenders handed out in interviews by his co-stars.

Tornado: "Be prepared to lose, because you're going to get a serious whooping."
Ice: "You'd better watch out because I will freeze you in your steps."
Atlas: "I love pizza. If they bring some junk food into the arena I'm screwed..."
