Seems there's been a little update in the Q&A section over on Gareth David-Lloyd's website. It amuses me that the moment the cameras roll he can play a Grade A woobie, yet off-screen and the second he opens his mouth he is just such a lad (and yes #3 did make me laugh).

'Friends, family, and women.'

Right, and now I'm off to do the wrapping/packing needing for the planned relocation to the family lair tomorrow, whee!

John Barrowman is hosting the Jerry Herman Gala on BBC Radio 2 until 9.15pm GMT. You can listen online and hopefully listen again when it's done. Brilliant singing going on, not just from Barrowman but from a host of others with full orchestral backing and a very happy audience. I missed the beginning but am hoping I didn't miss 'I Am What I Am'.

God I hope someone can rip these tunes, they are fantastic, and Barrowman is so clearly in his element and loving every second. (Hopefully his next album will be live stuff like this, streaks and miles ahead of Another Side.) He really does belong on a West End stage dammit, no question.

ETA: Am now happily all geeked out. Barrowman brought down the house with 'I Am What I Am'. I then switched channels and watched End of Days. Captain Jack and team, eventually, saving the world. Bless 'em. Talk about Dad's Army :)
