More TW Series 2 SPOILERS here - more than was in the supposed 'Breaking News' BBC press release but still mainly vague indications about general eps. I'm not going to panic until I've figured out just how reliable these are likely to be.

Farewell ye bats of Southern England
Dec. 3rd, 2007 09:25 pmFor I am fangirl, hear me squee :)
Two links that have sent me bouncing off the walls with joy this evening:
x. The Stage - Blogs - TV Today: What do you call a blowfish in a sports car? - Behind the scenes at the Torchwood press launch
A couple of new spoilers other than the general ones than have been floating around for weeks. Avoid if you think you know enough already.
x. SFX: Torchwood Season Two Screening (ETA: ITV TeleText's Review: echoing SFX's, is here.)
Specific to the first episode of series 2. No new spoilers if you're familiar with the general ones floating around since that casting spoiler came out weeks ago. What made my day was the general conclusion: Jam-packed with laughs, action and sex appeal, this episode is free of jarring gear changes, shudder-inducing sex talk or gaping plotholes, and sees Torchwood realising its potential. It still won’t be to everyone’s taste, of course – it's light-years from hard SF, and some will find it just too irreverent and populist, or just too damn horny. But if you’re a fan of shows like Buffy, Angel and Doctor Who, we’re confident you’re going to love it.
ETA: This is like the post-coital cigarette now. The official BBC Torchwood site apparently launches 4th December 2007, i.e. tomorrow =)
