So just in case she and anyone else wishes to read a brilliantly depressing and dark version of what might have happened during the Year That Never Was, I point you to:
Made My Own Pretty Hate Machine - bypaperclipbitch.
paperclipbitch is a fic LJ and if you like the tales therein, well worth friending. It seems to be a mix of fandoms, but a large proportion is Torchwood fic. The writer does a cracking Owen, and her latest fic (You're Going To Wish I'd Never Touch You) is a stellar example of why as Owen takes centrestage for a very dark, apocalyptic fic.
Be warned, early fics are very nice and very well characterised and pleasant to read. BUT, recently the writer has been on a dark pain pain PAIN DEATH APOCALYPSE trip. Which is understandable as he/she does them extremely well. Just be warned it will leave you in need of a drink afterwards.
