Absence makes the heart grow fonder
May. 13th, 2007 04:43 pmWent round to a mate's last night and got utterly rat-arsed on wine whilst watching Eurovision. Good times. But I still missed the Doctor. I also increasingly miss Jack. I still can't believe I've got to wait till next year for new Torchwood. Tosh, Ianto, wherefore art thou *sniffe*
Anyway, today I got to wallow in gratuitous access to the computer as the sis is away. Here be a schedule that helped keep this pining TW fan content.

paperclipbitch. Great fic but utterly utterly heartbreaking. Seriously. Totally dark, apocalypse!fic that offers no relief or hope whatsoever. Not entirely sure why I'm recommending everyone go to get their heart ripped out, but for some reason it's worth it. Even if I did have an odd lump in my throat by the end. Oh the ending *clutches chest*
x. Relief from the urge to curl up sobbing comes at least partly in the form of shameless ogling of pretty men. Or at least one particular one. Thank you
tya_rc's Gareth David-Lloyd icon post. Torchwood, Absolute Power, The Genius of Beethoven, etc etc. *happy sigh*
x. Give your improved mood a final pep with a brief reread of A Lovely Wedding. (to prove that actually Jack can save the day sometimes), and then ponder the 'Alternate Lives' Challenge over at
tw_flashfic. Add a final twist of spotting a stray comment over at
rivier's about AUs and Ianto and rentboys. It's been done with Franz I'm sure, and come on, imagine a snarky Ianto holding his own on the streets. Yes I am hellbound, what of it :)
