Post-X3 Fic Rec

Simply great fic set after the end of X3 - so be warned it does contain spoilers for the movie. Magneto and Pyro are quite similar in certain ways - both once very fond of people who they now fight against. In this you have them almost talking - because of course real men don't do the crying, sharing issues thing - as well seeing Erik respond to their situation in a way, and with a voice, that only Erik can.

Bad Alex! No biscuit!

Here's a nice example of something you probably shouldn't say on a morning radio show.

So Mr Alex Kapranos came on and, amongst other topics, discussed the two most disgusting things he's ever eaten. (1) Fried insects - t'is gross picking the legs out from your teeth afterwards. (2) Bull's testicles - eating it reminded him of an old girlfriend who didn't like giving oral sex and used to complain that it was like tasting a bag of pennies.

Part of me is going "EWWW, TMI!!"; the rest of me can't. stop. laughing. because, dude, this was on morning radio - imagine if that happened on the beeb...
