Sense and Sensibility
Aug. 30th, 2005 06:09 pmaka The Ultimate Chick Flick.
I finally tried reading some Austen. Got impatient and settled to watch the film.
How can you hate a film that, once you ignore Hugh Grant and the ladies, is simply so divinely pretty to look at? You are given such joyful sights as Alan Rickman sweeping to the rescue on horseback. You get Greg Wise looking not unattractive. And, just when you thought it couldn't improve, you are treated to the lickable scene of a rumpled Hugh Laurie coming to the door in his bedshirt. *sigh*
I'm happy now =)
