Life was fairly uneventful today. I think I narrowly avoided being throttled by the lady sitting next to me at the observatory when it became apparent that despite her doing loads of extra calculations to remove errors whereas I just took the first figures I got and ran them, I'm the one getting the good results. (Hah, errors of 1.06%!!!)
**hugs** to all of you whoprodded suggested that I try to continue the WIP. Truth be told, I would love to, but I really not sure I could write like that these days. At the time I had just finished one of Angela Carter's short novels, and if there is a lady who can get your brain to go shooting off into the fantastic, it's her.
And if there's anything more earthgrounding than a nuclear particle physics lecture, it's a nuclear particle physics lecture given by a boring and very bad nuclear particle physicist. Bah.

Nope, it's hard to stay cross when you have very silly lines and images dancing round in your head!
