John Barrowman was on Blue Peter. All reports say he was sweet and charming and no innuendo, no flirting, no sly comments whatsoever.

I know.

And yes I also know that he started out on kids TV so of course he's a pro at appropriate behaviour for the wee ones. It's just... well... I am not used to Barrowman being pure as the driven snow. Not at all. First time I saw him properly was on DW as Captain Jack. I've seen him shamelessly cracking jokes about the size of his pipes and demanding a 'gay off' and, most impressively, managing to make innuendo about the CERN accelerator. In short, in certain situations I expect a certain reaction, or at least a glimmer, from dear JB. To have not so much as a twitch is just wrong.

So to look at these screencaps from his interview, and to be told he said nothing? Does. Not. Compute.

Hehe, I'm trying to boot the wee sis off our computer so I can download the ep and see it with my own eyes. Some things have to be seen (and not heard) to be believed! =)

Possibly the fact that mere five year olds and those with innocent minds might be watching deterred him a little, BUT STILL *sniff* Reality has cracked a little, I don't understand it ;)
